My name is Emy*, I’m 12 years old, and I’m full of energy and sensitivity. People say I’m outgoing and endearing. I love to laugh, be around others, and I connect with people easily, because relationships mean the world to me.
I have a big heart… sometimes a little too big. I get attached quickly and am sensitive to how others see me. When I feel loved and accepted, I thrive and shine. But rejection or misunderstanding can touch something fragile inside me. I need a reassuring adult who can help me understand my emotions and remind me of my worth.
In my day-to-day life, I function well when I feel safe. I have a lot of potential, and I do well in school when my mind and heart are at ease. I need a family that understands my passions, encourages me, and lets me spread my wings. Sometimes I test boundaries: it’s my way of making sure the relationship is strong and that the adults in my life will be there for me no matter what.
I can have a somewhat complicated relationship with food, and bedtime can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. A consistent, gentle, and predictable routine really helps me.
I’m creative and athletic: I love cheerleading, dancing, gymnastics, music, and visual arts. Animals make me feel good. I also love makeup and social media. I’m very outgoing, even with strangers, so I need to be well protected.
Today, I’m looking for a loving, stable family committed to a long-term relationship. A family that understands the importance of emotional bonds, that will provide me with a safe environment and plenty of attention. Ideally, a family where I can receive all the attention I need. A family that will love me forever.
